Parts & Logistics Driver

Are you a highly organized individual who loves being out on the road rather than stuck behind a desk or inside a warehouse all day? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy keeping things running smoothly? If so, we have an immediate full-time opportunity for you to become a vital part of our field operations team!

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to join us as a full-time Parts & Logistics Driver. Your primary focus will be ensuring our field technicians have exactly what they need, when they need it, by managing parts delivery and mobile logistics across our service areas. You will be out on the road driving for the better part of the day.

This is a fantastic opportunity for:

  • An active individual who loves to drive, stay on the move, and prefers the open road to a static warehouse floor.

  • Someone with a strong inclination towards organization who can meticulously manage inventory both in the shop and inside a delivery vehicle.

  • An individual eager to dive into the world of the trades through hands-on knowledge of parts. Entry-level candidates with a strong willingness to learn are highly encouraged!

  • A tech-savvy person comfortable using basic technology and apps to support route navigation, communication, and inventory tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mobile Field Logistics: Safely and efficiently drive a company vehicle for the majority of the day to deliver parts, tools, and materials directly to technicians at active job sites.

  • Accuracy & Organization: Load and verify daily parts orders before leaving the shop, ensuring exceptional attention to detail so technicians get the exact items required for their jobs.

  • Field Support & Returns: Coordinate with dispatch and field technicians to prioritize urgent deliveries, minimize tech downtime, and bring unused parts or tools back to the shop.

  • Inventory Control & Maintenance: Spend the remaining part of your day organizing the parts department, maintaining a clean and safe shop environment (sweeping, breaking down boxes), and ensuring everything is in its proper place.

  • Continuous Learning: Eagerly learn about a wide variety of parts across different trades to become a knowledgeable resource for the team.

  • Physical Capability: Perform tasks that include twisting, pulling, pushing, and lifting items weighing over 50 pounds, as well as standing or driving for extended periods.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record (essential for this driving-heavy role). You will need a chauffeur's license and have your MDOT.

  • A strong drive for organization and a keen eye for detail.

  • Willingness and enthusiasm to learn about various trades parts (for entry-level candidates) OR previous experience with parts (for experienced/retired candidates).

  • Physical ability to lift over 50 pounds, load vehicles, and handle daily delivery tasks.

  • Basic smartphone/computer skills and comfort using GPS and digital inventory apps.

  • A proactive, self-motivated attitude with a strong work ethic.

What We Offer:

  • Medical Insurance — We pay 100% of your and your family’s insurance premiums for health, dental, and vision.

  • Competitive Pay

  • New Technology — Including a company tablet & access to integrated software.

  • 401K Retirement Plan with company match.

  • Paid Training

  • Paid Time Off & Paid Holidays

  • Paid Uniforms

  • A Family — This is last on the list because it’s the most important. We care about our team and expect you to bring that same caring attitude when you join. We do much more than just work together. You’ll enjoy our company outings and build lifelong friendships at Lascko Services.
